I am a stop-motion animation student from east Texas currently enrolled at Columbia College Chicago. I work with stickybones puppets, needle-felted puppets, and silicone-based puppets. While stop-motion is my main focus, I do also have experience with computer animation, rotoscoping, pixilation, and storyboarding. The programs I have worked with are Maya, Adobe Photoshop, Toon Boom Storyboard Pro, ToonBoom Harmony, and Dragonframe.

Originally majoring in computer animation, I made the switch to stop-motion well over a year ago. My fear had been that I had somehow fallen out of love with animation, but after making the switch and learning from the very beginning all over again for the art of stop-motion, I have been hooked ever since. It is a slow process, both for the creation and shooting, and there is still much to be learned.

When not in the studio or creating a puppet, I enjoy drawing, writing, listening to music, and watching my favorite shows. Sometimes I like to simply sit and stare out the window to decompress after a long, stressful day.
